I voted English, but I consider myself a human being before being English.

Me and my bf are off to portugal in june. We’re thinking about going to egypt next year as well, ive been before, when I went to cyprus we went on like a cruise over there and I wouldn’t recommend going in August as it was red hot ( over 50 degrees ) the best time of year to go is autumn or spring and dont stay in cairo its not a nice place. I’d always say book online, we saved over 700 on our holiday just for booking online and theres often better deals as well
Good advice. 8)
Cairo is a one or two day trip. Pyramids, City of The Dead
and museums. (pickpockets abound)
Luxor is a great place with lots to see. Some good places in the south,
but I never made it down there.
Buy the Lonely Planet Guide to Egypt before ytou go, be prepared to be
approached by friendly but persistent Egyptians every 10 feet and try to
keep a smile.
Don’t pay more than half the asking price, aim for a quarter and settle

If that doesn’t help, post the error message exactly.
Thanks Owen, I was hoping you,d reply.
Well this morning, I turned pc on, and where I,d scheduled scan disc to start, I got the blue screen and the message said,
“Cannot open volume for direct access, windows has finished checking the disc” then it booted into windows normally, BUT, I went in my computer, and c drive, properties, then scan disc. This time I left the 2 boxes unchecked? that say, automatically fix file system errors and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors” this time it did it. However when I set scan disc to start at windows boot up it does 5 checks, this did 3. V weird huh?If my memory serves me well, by unchecking those boxes the scandisk
will report if it finds any bad sectors, then asks what you would like to do
As you received no such report, I guess all is well. :wink:22 February, 2006 at 2:32 am #198796Without Googling, I think most of the above shows were on in the 70’s, and
quite a few in the 60’s.
I nominate The Young Ones. 8)
22 February, 2006 at 2:21 am #1987311) A machette. This can do anything a knife can, and more. With a machette
I could make a hut, and a spear.2) A large sheet of tarpaulin.
3) A long length of rope, cos I could unravel strands of it to make
lighter bits of rope and even string which I’d use to make animal traps and
fish-traps. I could also make thread ( out of the rope ) for sewing or making
clothes. I wouldn’t need a ready-made needle, cos I could make one out of a
thorn or something similar.4) A big heavy stainless steel cooking pot.
5) Fish hooks..
