Sounds like you’ve installed XP over the top of the last install and retained
your program files.
I suggest you back up your documents, pictures etc to disk and perform a
clean install

As for Geoff. Sure he has a go at people, but if everybody constantly attacks him at the most personal level, then sooner of later he will say “enough is enough, I am bored with all this” – as I guess would anybody.
I’ll make a point to everybody. You may loathe him, you may have a grudging respect for him, you may even like him – whatever – but one thing stands out above everything. This is that whenever a thread is started, attacking him, (directly or indirectly) everybody flocks in to read it. The increase in visits, views on the thread, posts, new members etc is really amazing.
Now he has apparently gone for good, and already users are moaning about how quiet is is and how there are no interesting threads to read and so on. Well people, you’ve made your bed, now you have to lie in it.
You now face an unremitting diet of meaningless discussions about women’s periods; how awful men are and wouldn’t we be better off without them; ”mwahh mwahh luvs you my sis”; do you think I am fat?; endless tree hugging; and of course a filling diet of Liberalism. Enjoy !!!
