I trust the BNP less than I trust Muslem extremists.

But they are, so I’m not!

Is it an act? Might be, to give them “gods will” to wage war.

I’m sceptical about political leaders who attend church. Are they really Christians or are they afraid to not be seen to be Christian?

When Margaret Thatcher was asked for her opinion on religion she replied; “As a child I was made to attend Sunday School, and I hated it!”

I admire her for that, not much more, but I admire her for that. 8)

I totally agree that the war was unnecessary, it had nothing to do with terrorism…

It was a (bogus) reaction to 9/11 and as such, had everything to do with terrorism.
Do you honestly believe that after 9/11 the US was supposed to do nothing?

I dont like or agree with everything james says. I would just point out to you, that he has many a contact in the political field, maybe slightly one sided, but all the same, a deep knowledge.

I would love you personal input as to whether we are entering into world war status, how close do you think we are, even if we dont get to that unfortunate state?

    No slagging please.

    Thank you.

I’m not really a socialist, but I could adapt! As natural resources diminish and the energy gap grows, the demand-led economy will inevitably give way to a supply-led economy.

I’m not really talking about a political party like in the USSR etc so much as a social movement that does the job of a modern religion without resorting to fairy tales, superstition and promises of unverifiable and highly improbable rewards.

The problem is; who dictates societies morality in the absence of religion?

I think that now we can prove, with DNA testing and suchlike, that someone who is guilty of a crime such as murder, rape etc should be put to death.
Why keep these evil and dangerous people alive at the tax payers expense?

Evidence can be tampered with, especially in high profile crimes where the police are put under intense pressure to find a culprit.

    No to the death penalty!
