Police officers do a job that the average jo wouldn’t necessarily be able to do (most people say if I were in the forces I’d do this, I’d do that, but in reality would they??)… They are not seen in the worth they were years ago :roll: but years ago the crime rate wasn’t as high. If more officers were to be seen on the street’s then maybe peoples attitudes towards them would change?? People wont be totally happy with the police force untill the country is totally crime free, and unfortunately we don’t live in such a society and that is never going to happen! They can only act on a crime if a crime has been reported and not all do get reported… However if they do strike I don’t think it will proove positive.
