I was thinking more of the author or the airport security person being in the wrong both for the same reason – being petty.

This is an interesting article. A bit long but shows both sides of the coin. It’s also interesting how one doctor (Dr Zucker) actually investigates the reasons why a child thinks they are the opposite sex and successfully in all but a few cases resolves the issue.

I see your point Jen to an extent. I work with a woman who used to be a man and who fathered children.

My concern here is the boy’s long term future happiness.

So unless he has a sex change now he is going to go through puberty as a boy. That rules out an all girls school because of his physical attributes. It would also rule out an all boys…[Read more]
