I hope you dont mind me saying this wake but this thread is about victimising…. isn’t the thread in itself victimisation? That’s what it looks like to me anyway… also I doubt you will have any people speaking against you here……. you come over as not a man to cross… just my opinion.

I have never mentioned victimising. It has been said that every post I make is vindictive and I thought I would put it to the test.

So far the results are heavily in my favour (thanks for the 3rd by the way, that really was the killer blow) but that may change as the less intelligent members resurface.

As for people not speaking against me, why not? What’s the worst that can happen? I guess i could type in caps…

    WOTYAONABOUT. ;)

Er That’s how it shoud have read, J.

J are you referring to Ruby’s 3rd post on this thread Posted: Fri Aug 03, 2012 10:55 pm?

If so, it’s a code error. Ruby is actually quoting Wake but it looks like Ruby is stating it as the e] has been left off the code.

I can go into further detail:

    In bed
    Out of bed
    Downstairs loo
    Kitchen
No hang on, did I go to the kitchen first or the loo first? :-k
Definately the loo first, then the kitchen
    Then upstairs bathroom…

    This is actually quite boring.

I went to London to go to work.

That song reminds me of 1973 all over again. And the first girl that ever gave me goosebumps.

    Fantastic year 1973. :P

    The year you were born..?

    A lady never tells…

    That’s a ‘yes’ then.

I think I’m gonna call you Miss Marple.

“To support their campaign, the force also released a video featuring a female rape victim – in a bid to encourage women to cut down on how much they drink on a night out.

During the video the victim says she wishes to make others aware of the dangers of drinking too much, which she believes played a part in her attack.

Her account ends with her saying that she has now learnt to drink less and stay in control.”

If anything, this campaign is likely to persuade those, who have been raped on a night out and where alcohol is involved, from reporting it through the fear that they will be blamed for having the damn audacity to go out and enjoy themselves.

eek caps!! I’m just grateful you didn’t bust out this fella  or that would have been me virtually slain.

I’ve got a bamboo spear. Be careful. I have already slain Ruby’s space hopper on The Last Word thread but she managed to drag herself over here. :P

And, battle lines are drawn when the CAPS COME OUT.

Maybe not suggest but certainly implied it. That’s how I read it, anyway.

Well you read it wrongly then

I understand what Jenn means…. Im always amazed if I drive through Leeds late at night it might be freezing cold but some girls are in bikini tops and short skirts… like jen jen said in an earlier post we take personal responsibility in other areas… against burglars muggers pick pockets etc…. it makes sense to take responsibility and not to dress so provocatively….

Sure….it should not be necessary but bad things happen… we all know that.

Ok but what about @ the beach or swimming pool?

Well thats a whole different environment … people dont go there to drink either and when they leave they dress appropriately… well sometimes they do :D

Hmmm I don’t think I read it wrong. You definately associate rape with alcohol and clothing.

There was me thinking we were just discussing the poster campaign and not rape in general…

    There were two posters in this campaign;

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/9449990/Police-apologise-for-warning-women-they-could-be-raped-if-they-got-drunk.html

The one with the women seem to suggest to me that you can only get raped if you go out and get drunk which we all know is a load of rubbish.
