I’m just looking through my photobucket page to see what’s in there and I spotted this.

I wonder how much I’d get for it at a carboot sale?
You might get something if you blank out Pat’s Chat.
You could sell up the range for your weddings. Offer the bride and groom calendars, mugs, T Shirts etc from their Wedding Day pics.

Has anyone noticed the new words in this Olympics….. if you win a medal you are medal-ed if you stand on the podium you are podium-ed… I ‘m just wondering if its a commodious race if….. commode-ed :?
Third in the medal table right now BTW…. Yay!!!
The Olympics are a good stage for us to teach English to the World!
4 August, 2012 at 11:59 am #506365I dunno, Tel, you’re a nosey bugga.
This morning, I’ve spent some time watching the Olympics, just been to the shops to buy new collars for my tom cats.
I’m going to spend the day writing old fashioned letters as I’ve given up on the online / call centre crap.
Then I’m going to watch some more Olympics.
Go to the BBQ, take some pics and turn them into a 2013 Calendar, or coasters or mugs. for your family for Christmas prezzies.

Well we’re fourth in the medals table. Not bad considering how big the US and China are, population wise.
Looking forward to the men’s 100m. Hoping it will be a 1,2,3 for Jamaica. Obviously I’d prefer a Brit to win it…
ooooooooooo have you seen that film ‘Cool Running’ about Jamaica’s first bobsleigh race?! :)
Yeah, mon!

Myth: When it comes to sex, some people say ‘no’; but they really mean ‘yes’.
Fact: No means no but sometimes people may be too frightened to say anything. This doesn’t mean they are consenting to sex.Definately a true myth i always say no and mean yes, cos i’m shy
I’m glad you find it a joking matter.
Pretty insensitive don’t you think give the subject matter.
4 August, 2012 at 12:20 am #506086I forgot to add, I rarely wear skirts, if I do it’s a business suit. I never wear dresses. I don’t tumble out of nightclubs drunk because I don’t go to them. I have a few drinks in the pub and can say although I won’t be sober, I won’t be totally inebriated either at the end of the evening.
Should I therefore go around with the smug belief, thanks to some on this thread and that poster, that I am less likely to get raped?
4 August, 2012 at 12:09 am #506083Stats say that a suspected rapist is less likely to be prosecuted or convicted if the victim was drunk or had been drinking as the opinion taken by the police and jury is the victim is also at fault.
This poster campaign is really going to change that attitude, isn’t it?
The police would have been better off spending the money warning all sections of society that rape can happen to anyone at anytime and reassuring them that they shouldn’t be afraid to report it because they are not at fault.
All this poster campaign does is imply to young girls if you go out and get drunk you’re going to get raped but we told you that and you took no notice.

3 August, 2012 at 11:25 pm #506206J, Ruby is not brain dead. As I explained, it was a simple code error with the quote syntax which made it look like Ruby was posting as Wake.
