Well I’ve just learnt something new. I didnt know “chav” referred to a particular racial group within a social class of people.
It doesn’t, but it won’t be the first time you’ve jumped to a conclusion and been wrong.
The word “chav” does not refer to a race. It refers to a section of society that have behavioural abnormalities.
Well I read Words’ interpretation so asked my question.
Can’t find where it refers to a racial class or behavioural abnormalities.

blimey Panda we are agreeing far too much these days but as you say innocent until proven guilty and I would like to know the circumstances first
I agree. Very little is known about what actually happened. Larger house or maybe a move from the area.
22 June, 2012 at 4:53 pm #498792Ok, it’s not gonna happen but I want the Germans to lose tonight.
On penalties. :D
22 June, 2012 at 4:52 pm #499699Innocent until proven guilty but we were debating at work if the parents of the 6 house fire children maybe did it to try and get a larger house…
I saw the grave of 4 siblings all aged under 10 in Grove Park cemetary. All very, very sad.

Electric shock treatment. Incredibly barbaric. Do they still do it?
yes
My mother went through several doses of ECT in the 70s and 80s.
Her post mortem showed she was a walking time bomb as she had a large brain aneurism. It didn’t kill her but I often wondered if it was caused by ECT.
22 June, 2012 at 4:11 pm #499634Cute puddy cat, tinks!
I’ve just welcomed the 6th cat. He’s getting on a bit but he’s cool. He’s only been with me just over a week but he found the cat flap and now comes and go as he pleases. I was panicking when he got out so I went looking for him in the early hours thinking he wouldn’t come back. But he did, I was so relieved.
Think my other cats are in awe of him. He’s not into hissing or fighting. Food, sleep, stroll. Food, sleep, stroll. He’s like the Kofi Anan of the cat world. :P
