 Given what’s been said, perhaps you’d all like to tell us your best Jamie Bulger jokes, then. There must be some crackers. Or what about the classics about Holly and Jessica? Good old British humour.

And, as I’ve already mentioned, you’re an obvious wanker. Where’s the news, four eyes?

Leeds should have been disbanded in the seventies for serious foul play. In fact, all of Yorkshire south of Harrogate and York should have been turned into a national park and had its scum inhabitants shipped to the Americas. Hopefully, friendly Canadians would have clubbed them all to death.

Not to mention a bit tiresomely dim when it comes to English comprehension. You can ask the Captain for confirmation whenever you like. I got the distinct impression he counted you amongst the world’s not so bright lights. I agree.

It’s not often I am called upon to concur with the Captain. It has to be agreed, though, you are a prize pillock.

Thirty odd thousand good natured, indomitable souls in, though. Week in, week out. Plenty to be proud of.

pikey replied to the topic Should China hold the Olympics? in the board Getting serious 17 years ago
All I’m saying is we can’t hold them in Sweden every year. On the scale of things, China isn’t such a bad place. I know people who manage to live and work there, for example, without being rousted by the stormtroopers at four in the morning and tortured before breakfast. Not something that can be said for everywhere in the world, surely?

I must say, I think the Geoff has been coming out of the recent scrapes rather well. It seems to me at least he’s scuffling with roughly the right people these days.

China does not hunt whales. They banned commercial whaling in 1986. You can see exactly which nations do here.
As for their human rights record, while obviously flawed it’s not too bad when seen relatively to the really stinky places of the world. They’ve come a long way in a few years and they do have that nagging problem of keeping over a…[Read more]

China, while it may be many things, is not a whaling nation. It’s a good thing you didn’t mention it.

Great Grandpa Monty, who had a Welsh gardener and therefore always thought he knew DLJ well, always said the whores were better in the days when there were workhouses. It’s all got to be taken into account and a balanced decision arrived at.

Oi. I’ll have you know that it is a widely known fact in proper footballists’ circles that Derby County are in fact the most gifted, tictactically astute side playing today and, further, boast most of the world’s best players. They just happen to be really very exceptionally…[Read more]

Not once. Twice. And both since I’ve been in the world. Hardly ancient history, even if I do say so myself. In any case, as far as BCFC are concerned, which is the point of my missives, Roy of the Rovers stuff that they can only dream of.

Do excuse my old fashioned terminology, Mr Anita. By ‘League Championships’ I mean champions of all England. What would now be Premier League Champions.

This is hardly news. The Trades’ Unions, by their very nature, are socialists. True socialists are never nationalists but internationalists. The human race as a whole is their concern, not some made up notion of a state, created in order to disenfranchise the masses. This is what always makes me sad about so called socialists who decide to vote…[Read more]
