Cath, consider yourself banned from my thread. Don’t post on it again.
5 September, 2008 at 9:48 pm #369110It is a corker.

It’s funny how the world looks upon the destitute and impoverished of this world with suspicion, but actually thinks these wan-kers are making a contribution to the world by spending billions of dollars on what amounts to a giant toy. Not that I’m against it, really, but perspective is everything, isn’t it? Anyway, f-uck observing things, how about they make a worm-hole, through which we can actually send something somewhere. Send Gary Glitter down the worm-hole, no pun intended, and see if he comes back. If he doesn’t…oh, well, no biggie. (God, your not bringing him up again, are you?)
These dweeb scientist can’t even figure out how to stop hair loss; which is surely more important that some giant accelerator that crushes atoms into one another. Entropy and the second law of thermo-dynamics, now there is something I can understand. Something heats up, and then it has gotta blow…sounds natural, doesn’t it?

Do give it a rest, baldy.
4 September, 2008 at 9:47 pm #369716Very drole. I’ll tell you what else booze is good for: Weekend Clique Wars ©. Which side will you be rooting for, Ms Gooner? Personally, I’m hoping for a better showing from the Pats/Fastcars led team. They’ve been very quiet recently but I’ve a feeling they’re keeping some powder dry for just the proper occasion. I notice the Sword/Dagger/Mims team have sprinkled about a bit of early Thursday skirmish action. They’ll figure well. What about the Pete/Esme team that have been making a bid for board hegemony over the last few weeks? Still reeling from last week or an unstoppable new power?

Apparently, where one in six Germans would step in to prevent teenage vandalism, only one in four Brits would do the same…
That would make us more likely to intervene, surely. A round of applause for being braver than the Hun, everyone.

Visit the locations in Scotland where Rob Roy was filmed, it looks awesome.
The Liam Neeson flick? Unusually for these things, I believe, it was actually mighty Caledonia that featured. Lots of similar productions are filmed in bog-trotting Ireland. A cruel twist indeed.
29 August, 2008 at 11:57 pm #367334I think oily seagulls and poor injured foxy-woxies may do very well out of the new system but I fear the bins might not get emptied.
28 August, 2008 at 5:44 pm #334865What a wit! You remind me very much of that four-eyed twit who is always snapping around. Is that who you are when you’re not being all self-important and a definite article, The Voice? It’s very impressive, by the way. I’m sure you’re very scary.
Just out of interest, which bit of the original post was it that you found pretentious? Was it the intimidating use of grammar? Was one of the words a bit too long for you? If you let me know I might be able to tone it down in future for morons like you. Say the word, ‘man’.
I’m in the mood for a spot of The Libertines.

Pretentious works chipperly for me. How’s pretending working out for you?
