I just want to echo PB’s sentiments – it is very difficult when we lose someone who brings so much pleasure to others. Andy was a fantastic member of the Just Chat community and a popular and enthusiastic member of our Guiding team.

Someone like Andy is truly irreplaceable and my thoughts are with his friends and family at this time.

Would I have to get off at every station, or would just passing through count?

Already done a parachute jump…. and as for walking from Lands End to John O Groats I couldn’t think of anything more dull!

I think I am pretty much recovered – although they say it takes the body a month to recover after a marathon.

Apparently I have burned around 3,000 calories, lost six pounds, taken 37,000 steps and subjected my feet to the equivalent weight of 20 million pounds.

Shocking, eh?!?
