To be honest, if the worst that happens to me is a 12 year old showing off to his mates by telling me to f**k off or some wee druggie asking me for a light/bus fare (Why is it always bus fare? From what I understand from the original post, whoever she feels scared by hasn’t given her any other reason to fear them other than ‘it’s a bit scary’
There’s people in this town I hate walking past cos I know they have a reputation, but that’s not reason enough for them to be locked up. If I were to be attacked, that’s different but until then I do my best to avoid them. They don’t bother me if our paths cross though, never have done (apart from one occasion where I was asked by someone ‘Got a light for my cigarette mate?’)but they have a reputation that suggests they could.
