I live near a city but in a small village, it might be a nice piqturesque place to escape to, but its a bit too oldie worldie sometimes, we had a flood a few weeks back and had to go 12 miles out the way just to get to next village as we were almost completely cut of lol :? :lol:

I Have the same prob Ritzy, we are in a small village and get cut off when it rains heavily. Our boradband was cr@p, we had it installed by a local company, was really expensive as my parents did not want dial up. It kept getting cut off for a week at a time so we decided to not pay the full amount. Well then they decided as of Jan 05 they were going to cease their service as it was so unreliable in our area. We are with BT broadband now, and so far no problems. Touch wood!!!
