HAHAHAHA it is funny make “comedy” moment of the year i think  Sad little men.

Who was that pathetic stupid outburst towards? There are kids being born everyday…Awwwww to them all!…But anyway, congratulations, Tad, as Becky is getting a bit upset that not everyone is responding in the same way.

Who said it was you i was doing anything to. And to try make you look better you are congratulating now why not when you were laughing? Anyway want at you and was meant to be funny but lately lack of humour is getting SERIOUS! And truct me CHUCK i aint upset take more than morons off here to do that have a nice day :D

LOL @ you Becky – I wish you would come and chat in the 40’s room some time, I’d love to see you put em all in their place !!!!!
And i am so glad you pointed out that kids are born everyday coz i got 2 running about and i was scared they were multipling midgets about to attack me but when you said that about kids i remembered having them so cheers BOBBO!

Who put who in there place? Kids are born everyday, which is a fact..I don’t know Tad, so have no reason to congratulate her as I congratulate alot of people I know who give birth. I viewed the thread, and found how Bad handled his reply quite amusing, so I replied to his post…So no one put anyone in there place…It’s the internet, confused one…I doubt anyone could put me in my place, especially these these groupies who invade these boards.

Anyway..I won’t reply to the thread anymore, Becky..We can’t have you crying about how the thread has been spoilt, and how it’s just another thread ruined by the horrible users of Justchat! Boohoo!

Prattle on all you like Robbo – WE DONT HAVE A GREAT MIDFIELDER IN THE RANKS – Gerrard is a power player , he’s not a foot on the ball , total control player

Until we do produce a great centre midfielder then we wil not win a thing
We have had more skillfull player in the past who hardly got a look in on the England team
    – Tony Currie , Stan Bowles , Frank Worthington – to name but a few

Colin Bell was an awesome player – if you think Gerrard has energy , you shoudl have seen that guy play

Another factor has to be our goalkeepers – we are pretty low on good English goalkeepers – most of the keepers on the premieship are now foreigners
Robinson just doesn’t do it for me – then what’s the alternatives after that ?

Then with this WHU fiasco – bringing in 2 players on the cheap – only for them to be resold next year – I hope soccer isn’t going to take this route – it’s a blueprint to disaster

You don’t have a clue..You are slating real good players..Do you actually watch football? It is not at all ANYTHING to do with skill..You don’t HAVE to have skill to proceed…Gerrard is one of the best midfielders in the world, and I cannot believe that you are even attempting to find excuses to slate him. Robinson is a very very good goalkeeper, a goalkeeper that any team in the world would love to have between there goal posts. Who gives a fu.ck about these other players you are mentioning..This is all about the present, not the past. Football is alot faster now, a more up to speed game…You barely get a second on the ball in this generation of football. Your comments are very strange and bizarre.

There is no alternative..We have amazing quality and depth in our team..The only thing I can think of is its a passion thing..The drive, which they fail to show…And I still believe its because the average wage for an England international is about 40 to 50 grand a week, probably more than that, as in AVERAGE pay…As I said..Money comes first to these internationals now…Football is second priority…If you don’t believe me, then look at how they all demand more money and what not..It’s crazy crazy madness!

having a conversation with a friend tonight, and i ended up agreeing with him

England are nothing short then boring

every 2 years, its always the same, we start of well against poor oppisition, we win a group we are expected to win, the media get hopefull, the fans get hopefull, and they just let us down, and lose the bottle when it comes down to the stage where it matters

we can talk about the team for as long as we like, whos great.. whos poor.. end of the day, we are rubbish when it comes down to it, and probably won’t win anything for a long time, and partly to blame is the media hype put on england, the team in the world cup was too over confident.. time to re address a few things, strong words have got to be said from people higher up, and somones got to take the blame for poor performance followed by poor performance.

Individuals who get a massive wage packet every week…Footballers now a day think mostly about the money..Money comes first, football comes second..It’s why they will only stay at clubs if they pay up! And for me, that becomes a major factor in international football, especially for us!

So, in my humble view, the players must take responsibility for alot of it, but also, Sven had to take some of it, especially in this world cup that has just gone.

Okay I shall reply to Geoffs post too .

You have all got it wrong about Hargreaves – he’s a bit of a work horse – does the donkey work okay – but put him up against a world class midfielder he’ll be taken apart – you can’t count the last 2 matches against poor opposition

I still think Gerrard is better out wide – he needs more room – when the middle of the park is congested he’s not as effective – as he like to run at people

Lennon is still learning – although he could be a great player one day – it’s all head down and charge for the line
Most premership left backs have him sussed – he’s not half as effective for Spurs

Our problem is we don’t have a great midfielder in England – someone to put his foot on the ball in the middle of the park – Platini style – or to a lesser effect Hoddle style

So what were them performances in the world cup by Hargreaves then? Why did he also get voted Fans Best Player for England, then?

Gerrard is better in the centre, and always will be…Again, look at him for Liverpool…As for Lennon, what are you going on about? The player has great creative ability as well as great skill and technique on the ball…He has been a menace in all the games he has starred in for us, including world cup appearences, and also creating chances.

The future line up could be, Lampard or Hargreaves, with Gerrard in the midde, with Joe Cole out wide left, with Lennon wide right…But at the moment, it should be Hargreaves with Gerrard in the middle…I think this is a more likely midfield in the very near future.

As for, “Our problem is we don’t have a great midfielder in England – someone to put his foot on the ball in the middle of the park”..When Gerrard picks up his form for international level, then i’m sure, and most others will be sure, that he will be the man…We don’t have a great midfielder for that role . What are you on…Seriously…But anyway, that midfield I just pointed out is a more likely midfield in the near future!

lampard was very poor again, can’t even keep the ball against poor opps… downing is alright, but i prefer cole out on the wing or even richardson, england play better with attacking wingers

so go for that approach i say

I agree…I think Lampard should have been dropped ages ago..He is another overrated player who will shoot at every opportunity, but can’t do much else. I prefer Richardson to Downing..He is such a boring player…I love how you think he’s going to run at a player, then you realise he has no pace or flair to actually go by an opponant..So he’ll stop, stand there, go backwards, then pass back, or he’ll stand in one place, and just cross lol..He’s a good crosser, and in my opinion, that’s all he is good at.

Typical Robbo – not a bloody clue about football – stick to watching the foerign shyte mate

Anyone who says that Gerrard should move back to centre midfield is totally misguided – he performs far better on the right
I do agree with lampard though – totally over-rated
Downing is an excellent player and he gives the right balance to the team – or left balance if you like
Richardson does nothing for me – don’t rate him at all

I’ll say a few things to some up most of your post..Watch Gerrard for Liverpool in the centre, and you will see he performs better in the centre…Put Lennon on the right, Gerrard in the centre with Hargreaves as Hargreaves is playing awsome at the moment, and when Cole is fit again, Cole on the left.

Not a clue about football? I have proved some pretty decent points against your fairly average criticism of my posts..But hey, I don’t blame your average posts, but I do find it hilarious how you continue to negatively reply to my posts, to try and prove a point that you have a better understanding of football because you have lived longer  ..Yet you haven’t proved much at all. I didn’t see you reply to Geoff when he also thought the midfield should look like what I just put, neither. But no, you have a point to prove with me, don’t you?. I am not going to get in a long debate with you as it will turn out to be a disaster like the last one..Have a good day, Drivel

Oh my oh my..Murray wins an emphatic match! 6-3, 3-6, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2..Wow and well done Andy Murray! Amazing!

If Andy comes back from one set down, it shows just how far he has come and what having a matuire coach does for someone young…………… Come on Andy keepit up

We can’t get too over excited yet though, as Gonzalez can just switch it up…When he gets motivated..It is scary..I’ve never seen a player hit a ball like he does..But Murray is looking good when it looked like Gonzalez was going to finish him off quickly in the 4th set..Murray has upped his game a couple of gears.

Update: Murray breaks his serve again!!! 3-0 up in the 5th, and Murray serving!
