The theory can become extremely easy if you take the time to revise it…That is all it is…Revising for it. The hazard perception I failed, so i’m going to go in for it again…I got 35/35 on my theory..I just really hate the hazard!

Pikey….I’m from Stevenage and half of Stevenage support Arsenal, the other half support Chelsea…And alot of other fans support teams out of their local region. Have they no soul neither? At the end of the day, deal with the fact that about 70 to 80 percent don’t support their local team. People like you, who have no idea about football, just claim that the next person is glory hunting if that person supports Man United, but you are wrong. We got Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham, Newcastle fans, Reading fans…The list goes on…But if you are a United fan…Then idiots like you will always stick to there claims that WE are glory hunting :roll:

As for the pundits saying that Shearer was one of the best players EVER….Well what a load of sh1t….He’s not in Peles league…He’s not in Maradonas league….He’s not even in George Best’s league….And he would never be able to get close to what Ronaldinho has got, and that’s unreal talent…HE will go down as one of the best players ever, but Shearer shouldn’t….He’s not even in the same league as these players…And I could mention alot more players if I wanted too…Maybe he was one of the best talents in the 90s, but certainly not one of the greatest players ever! That is almost laughable!

Rooney has supported Everton since he was a baby, but he chose to progress with his career and win things. I personally do not believe that he had many options available to him with big profile clubs…Yes, United..But they were not willing to pay more than Newcastle offered…Why do you think Newcastle paid so much to get him in the first place(back then)? No one was willing to fork up that kind of cash, and United were far more richer than Newcastle back then. I don’t think Highly of him and never will…I’m not saying he was average, as he wasn’t, but i’ve never really been a big fan of Shearer.

I reckon his high watermark was after Euro’96, which he finished as the Golden Boot. He was widely regarded as one the world’s top strikers at that point.
To the biggest profile clubs, he obviously wasn’t…I mean, the man had to opt for a move to Newcastle….Rooney signs for United, and United did all they could to sign him..No one else was willing to do the same with Shearer…If he was one of the worlds greatest strikers, like you pointed out..Then he would have gone to one of the worlds best teams, which it didn’t happen…And don’t give me this, “he wanted to join his home town”, because players like Shearer want to progress and win things, and if a bigger high profile club like Real Madrid came in, you’d be as sure as hell he’d opt for them!

GOIN DOWNRooney is one of the prospects in world football…For United, he plays behind the striker, or right midfield or left, and he is still banging in goals…He does play upfront, but he gets switched around almost in every United game…Shearer will have NOTHING on Rooney…Shearer was a GOOD player, a GOOD talent..But Rooney is an exceptional talent…He is put in with the likes of Henry, Ronaldinho, Zidane, and others alike, because all of them players can change a game with a bit of skill, or an exceptional pass, or an exceptional goal….Putting Shearer in the bracket of Rooney is almost laughable.
They are 2 different players…You are right, but Rooney is still a better player than Shearer, and them reasons above tell you why….When he plays straight upfront..He can bang goals in left right and centre…When he drops back..He is as creative as any player in the world..And you put Shearer in Rooneys bracket? Van the man is better than Shearer….Shearer has been in the premier league a longggggg time…Please don’t forget that, and it amazes me how he ended up at Newcastle….I guess the great teams weren’t interested lol
