    great thread acs
i do actually know a woman called lynne
    who is a lying gobshyte
    but back to thread
some of my pet hates are
wherever ive been in the world
(i was in the merchant navy for 6 years)
theres always that someone, whos been a mile further than you.

when your in a pub and cracking jokes round a table
theres always somebody that never laughs
but as soon as you finish your punchline, there straight in with theirs

people who never listen, but pretend they do
oh ive done that,oh ive been there etc

i better stop here,or i will be in danger of becoming one of these said persons
    and monopolise your thread :D

    That chair interests me Surrey….

Is it inspired by a Louis xiii highback armchair. employing the same craftsman techniques used 350 years ago.Its burnished solid oak legs, arms and stretchers are hand turned on a lathe while it bears the hallmark of mortise and tenon construction. The formal detailing is relaxed and balanced by a distressed finish, rustic tea stained burlac upholstery and hand hammered upholstered brads.

hark at david dickinson over there. :D

yes its been a bit quiet
    but never fear, im here

    right back to thread

there are more people alive today than the total who have ever lived.

within a group of 23 people there is a 50% chance that two of them will share the same birthday

there are more ten move openings in chess than stars in the universe

also if you put a grain of rice on the first sq of a chessboard and then double it on all subsequent squares by the time you get to the last sq yhe amount of rice you would need would weigh more than the planet earth.

    wow!

    anymore?

    however you wasnt to know
so i will try to answer your questions tomorrow
