9 July, 2012 at 11:12 pm #500091I have told people for a good few months now that the ” Arab Spring” may not be in favour of Western Culture. And tried to offput the yearly pilgrimagaes to Sharm-el-skeik etc. we are now hearing of women hitting women as they are not in full Burkha etc. Buses for men and women and never the twain. ..and no, i never read the Daily Mail.
Not a place I would go as a tourist. No Sir !
7 July, 2012 at 11:50 pm #500468still cannot remember of it being a shock like paper of the sunday sport standard anc.. :) though Lester Bangs/nick kent/julie burchill and Biba Kopf could be right buggers. I only bought it through the 70’s and 80’s .Now and again i look at the cover and realise I would be lost :)
speaking of music, getting all the reports of tea in the park. a complete washout according to pals of mine who came home ! I have saw the pics and honestly it looked like sheer misery, with thunder and lightning. shame. awaiting to hear how the stone roses did.if they “did” at all.

7 July, 2012 at 5:52 pm #501873I remember Paul and Barry Ryan too. I was only a child and enjoyed their good looks. They did Better use your head with their mother Marion Ryan, who herself was a legend..
defining moments? the opening riffs of the Clash on Clash city rockers will always be sheer freedom and euphoria to me.
7 July, 2012 at 4:31 pm #500463racking my brains ( whats left of them) to think of published tomes about 25ish years ago? not the Face? Dont know if thats still on the scene but i knew they had money worries after Jason Donavon sued them for insinuating he was Gay.
7 July, 2012 at 4:25 pm #501858Think this must be the Eastenders xmas story line.. its annoying me already.. she gets a call and in the next shot, the 5 suspects are seen closing their phones. Identical to the ” michelles baby” incident of near 30 years ago , or who killed, then resurrected Dirty Den.
