It must be really scary Esme. We sometimes forget that places like U.S.A are not the land of “milk and Honey” that we believe they are. And the amount of television shows from there, regarding the Medical Profession dont always show it well enough.
I know folks will shout ” well they should have had insurance” But who thinks they are going to get ill, when they have kids to feed etc. I know they have the Mercy hospitals for the poor, but ffs, if we think N.H.S waiting lists are long…

I am relieved i am here not there, and no amount of romantically viewed notions shall persuade me otherwise. Yes miracles DO happen, but usually to the rich. ggrrrr.

The meet I went on, it happened, irritating to say the least, thankfully I was with Rubes who was THE most entertaining on that meet! Italian resturants never seems so entertaining BR (Before Rubes)

What i HAVE found, When im dolled up in make up etc,I dont get a second look, but the days i Go with just outta bed hair, no make up and in comfy shopping clothes, Im more liable to get doors held open,and a smile,,maybe its pity :)
