och sheest batty, tinsel, jane.. I could supply many more memes, but I will Not.. vote who ya dam like.. it means nothing to me,, especially here in Scotland.. I cannot even join in. I have an argument of my own to follow.. I just wish the English will vote Jeremy.. that is all.

Cosy.. is witty, warm ,ethereal and a downright laugh to meet. On his days off he will come along and see me, and we howl laughing. We meet in unusual pubs. Olde English Bars.. street corners, Beaches, or Hotel Lobbys.. we affectionatedly punch each other, then have a few drinks.

Jane, read that article from the Daily Torygraph carefully.
The Tory attack ads are going full scale ahead, shrill and hysterical in getting people to try to think about 40 years ago rather than now.
It reveals a smear by the mail (surprise, surprise). Harman was a leading member of the national Council for Civil Liberties (NCCL). The NCCL for a brief period supported PIE, an extremely silly move, made in the name of civil liberties. Harman didn’t. The NCCL then backed off, and ha done a wonderful job (now under the name of Liberty) defending people against attacks on their reputations and freedoms by people such as the Mail. It includes Communists, but it doesn’t mean that everyone who supports civil liberties is a Communist.
It shows how scared the Tories are that they’re raking over statements made 40 years ago and blowing them out of all proportion, using guilt-by-association tactics. This election isn’t about issues of 40 years ago.
It’s about now, and the issues of today – work out why the Tories want to fight the past. It takes the heat off some nasty things they’ve said they’re going to do to us re education, social care etc

Gosh, this shocked me Arc. I have never known a nurse to vote tory before. They are killing it ! I was in hospital myself over the weekend and they had ONE cuff per ward for BP. and nurses almost arguing over whose turn it was for the I.V stands.
A lot of my treatment deals with x rays, and I was wheeled down to a new unit, where the wee porter Joked I was ” going V.i.p ” that day. It was a state of the art colour x ray. I was amazed, then all these men in suits came out to ask me if they could View. Long story short, it was being tried out for the Private Sector ! I refused, both the viewing and the actual x-ray. For ALL our sakes, please Vote Labour. xanyone with a conscience out there?

gosh I am a wee bit scared.. I have the fear of Nationalism in my home town.. then a fear of ukip voters in England. I refuse nationalism as I would support English strikers etc.. but I cannot, for the life of me realise fascism. …
I will stick with socialism.. and refuse to believe that the tory press and right wing journalists lie with.
