heck,,i often meet my Modern studies teacher and get roaring drunk ! He used to call my by my full name as he knew my dad,,and i got a double barrel name !!! he is a Raving homo..but good greif the LAUGHS we have !
One night we were out and met the local preist Father Eugene,,a MUCH respected catholic preist,,well me and alex and eugene ended up at a party ! we were like the fooking Marx brothers ! I was curly…and no one could wuite beleive the connection of a posh english accented teacher,a poetic blonde and a rough Irishman! They threw the preist out first LOL !! poor eugene,,si i walked him up to the Friary..and all the way home folks were going ” oh father! ” was like a scene from father Ted..
god dammit i love this wee town :)

calculating…..they were runts that were thrown out nest as eggs ! 15 years ago..My man had to break the shell and hand rear them…they were that pathetic and abandoned they have been with me ever since,,house birds. the male is grey and cinnamon..his sister is albino yellow..but they both try to shag Jordans feet !
we had a female cinnamon before that used to lay eggs on MY feet ! i wouldnt mind but im tiny ! and (cough) petite..nah it was a shame as we had to take the eggs from her as she became attached and used to attack stacey when she was wee..
The boys have all gone now,,i refused to sell them as my hubby was VERY picky..so the kids took over.all sheltered and heated aviary with massive flights.they lived out their natural lives,,and i dont mind admitting when the last one died ( snowy2) i wept like a bairn !!
lots of memories with these wee birds,,all loved in their own wee way and spoilt rotten ! they had a good life,,with natural willow bark etc..
the house birds go mental for chow mein or pot noodles !!! !!!
got a belter !!! I once hitched hiked with a dundee pal to london,,she was clever and articualte and has now a degree .but plain stupid,,as MOST students are !! we went dundee-edinburgh..to leeds then back to York then direct to south Kensington,,she sent her mum a postacrd,,saying she was ok blah blah,,we gets back and meets her mum…the mum goes daft asking where had been,,my pal assumed York was New York…im NOT joking !
I tried explaining later that we had to cross water to get to New York,,but it fell flat as she assumed the River Forth was the fecking Hudson! …this woman is now an English teacher !!!

Jordan (son) and I joke that we will be like Johnny Vegas and his mum from the programme “benidorm”,,a classic scene,,he is telling his mum he is going away with his mates next year,,the “mum” isnt interested and continies reading the brochures..he eventually asks ” where ya thinking of going mum”.she says,,oh same place,,so johhny vegas goes ” ok OKAY to stop ya moaning I will come with ya”…
me and joe laugh at that as he came on holiday with me !!! as if HE is doing ME a favour,,wee fooker cramps my style !
