och lassie i have made it with corned beef when the bairns were wee,,onions/tatties then 3 oxo cubes and 6 ox o finest corned beef. makes a braw wee shove over meal..but the correct recipe IS roast beef,made with dripping !
feck yer talking to the lassie that made a traditional Chicken Balti last night :) as my freezer defrosted itself,so i had 2 spare chickens. the other will do for a home made chicken noodle soup tomorrow.

no way its made with roast beef dripping and a clove of garlic and good beef gravy..tossed up with tatties,onion and corned/roast beef..
its more a gravy thing and darker looking than mere hash!

and to you too AW.mine was very quiet,as was Christmas. I went to my daughter and 3 house parties but its not the same. I live with my Son who has been working,and he finishes at 9 tonight.so im preparing goodies for him and we will start now :)
I kind of took a sympthetic approach,with him having to work.so tonight I shall make up the wee cheesy kebab things.stovies and lang may yer lum reek :)
