In the final part of the BBTV Task, it was Tracey and Brian’s turn to bring the latest headlines to the Big Brother nation.
Following a story about a new celebrity baby, Tracey had a special item to read out – from her Mum…
“And just in,” announced Tracey, “this message to a missing raver.”
“Hi Trace. You’re doing very well,” she stumbled, clearly emotional. “We miss you lots, but we don’t want to see you too soon though. We watch you every day and everyone’s supporting you. We love you lots and we’ll speak to you soon.”
Obviously moved, Brian gave Tracey a reassuring pat on her arm.
“Aww, she’s a raver,” he said gently, before making a special announcement of his own – a message for Carole.

“Mum, here is just a short note to tell you that I feel very lucky and proud to have a mum like you,” he read out. “I love you very much Mum. Your grandchildren send their love and kisses and hugs and are missing you loads, and can’t wait to see you.”
“Beautiful words. Lovely,” said Tracey, still trying to hold back her own tears.
“And finally,” she added, “some news just in from the Big Brother House. This week the housemates took part in a shopping Task working for BBTV.”
“They passed!” she whooped, “and will receive a luxury shopping budget. Get in!”
Big Brother is confident that Natasha Kaplinsky and Dermot Murnaghan’s jobs are safe…

As earlier rows have proved, there’s nothing like House issues to get tempers going. And it seems Carole has reached the end of the line with Chanelle.
Carole has clearly had enough of the on-again-off-again Chiggy romance and made her feelings clear to Chanelle. Unfortunately Chanelle clearly didn’t know where to stop…
“If I’ve got a problem with anyone in the House I do my best to reconcile it,” protested Chanelle, “what physically more can I do?”
“Nothing,” said Carole, admittedly tetchy and suffering with a cold, “because I don’t want you to.” “You just get with being with Ziggy, or not being with Ziggy,” she snapped, “and doing what you are doing.”
Oblivious to the warning signs, Chanelle blundered on. “Why don’t you want me to talk to you anymore?”

“That way,” snapped Carole, “I can’t be compared to people… who you want me to be like. I can’t deal with it at the moment. Don’t keep comparing yourself to how I deal with other people.”
“It’s got to be analysing all the time. You, you, you…” she added, with growing impatience.
“But Carole…” whined Chanelle as she put the last straw on the camel’s back.
“But nothing Chanelle,” barked Carole as she headed for the Bedroom. “I’m going to have a cup of tea in here and if you come in, I’ll go out again.”
Consider the blue touch paper well and truly lit…
