How sad ….. Well I suppose there’s for & againsts here.
Personally, I think we hear about & read stories of peeps that feel that they were born in the wrong body at an early age but do nothing & live a lie often marrying & having children before coming out & ripping loads of lives apart so maybe it’s not such a bad thing from that veiw.
On the other hand a 12 year old making such a radical decision…. that bothers me.
On a positive note start the councilling process because it must be an absolute minefield.
As for the hormone treatment & surgery well I think maybe that decision is best left for a while. The poor kid has only just started puberty & hormones are raging anyhow.
In any event a difficult debate.
