I never got on very well with Norton, though my boy upstairs is running it, and it is okay.

When I was running it, it picked up a virus that I had to manually delete. I never had a printer, so had to write down all the instructions and do the whole thing manually, what a bl**dy job!

So, got rid of that and used that AVG thingy and that picked it up straight away and got rid of the nusiance.

Im only running the Mcafee as it came free with my new broadband subscription, but I do miss the good thing about Norton and that is what you said above, it remembers things and asks. A bit of a pain at times, but it was there nevertheless.

Im running it at the mo…….. my one is black because Ive disabled the privacy service. If you dont do this you cannot access the simplist things on the net, like e-mail etc.

Im not too impressed so far, though it has blocked many hacking attempts and has a funky little map to show you the IP of the attempting hacker and the location (all US based  ).

I dont like the idea of every time I log in I have to disable one of the utilities just to be able to use the net freely.

How come all of a sudden you have found out how to spell DOA?

Do share your secret because there has been more than one member on here in the past criticised for their mis-spellings, and it would be great if you could share your sudden cure…..

Do tell how that was made possible! 8)
