Here here. Did they catch you on the hop with their response or were you able to make a mental not of their badge numbers. hope it was the later, in which case I’d report them. The only legitimate reason they could give is that they were persuing a suspect.

Mine aren’t too bad if they get into something like exploring. With mobile phones now I don’t worry too much if the dissapear for hours on end as long as they’re outside having fun. & the weather, I just tell them it’s liquid sunshine. But we do live in a fairly rural location so I know they’re not on the street corner intimidating old ladies & they wouldn’t be for long if I caught them either lol
As for me, I can clearly remember being togged up to go to a wedding over summer hols when about 7. Told to play outside ’til ready to go. My brothers & I ventured to the local stream & built a dam out of mud & rocks. Needless to say we were in trouble when eventually found. OOps sorry Mum
I think the BBC need to rsearch more thoroughly invetions that claim to supposedly be unique! Cause if they don’t they are just providing free advertising.
