Only ever saw George Best once live and it was when he was a journeyman (Hereford I think it was?)- way past his best but had some quality touches. However have seen many clips on TV which give the impression of greatness.
Don’t think I have a “greatest ever player” cos several have been that class above the rest (usual names, Pele, Edwards, Beckenbauer,Platini,Zidane,Muller,Cryuff,Maradona,Moore, etc etc etc).
However Frank Lampard has the potential to be the finest English player in a generation and the fact that Chelski’s spine is Cole,Terry and Lampard fills me with glee before next years world cup.

All 3 kids got up at 0630 this morning and each made me a Christmas card on the PC- woke up to 3 lovely cards n 3 beaming, very pleased with themselves, kids.

In the lower divisions, Bristol Rovers fans have always been reasonable to share a pint with when visiting Sincil Bank. The few Chester bring have also been good hearted n up for a laugh.
Worst we’ve had at the Bank- Hull City without a doubt, with other local derby teams (Grimsby and Boston) not far behind.

Have I missed something? Owen is, as far as I know, a decent JCer- unless this Miss Lush has been here before and has preconceived ideas(not that anyone wud ever hav more than one name on JC)
