Whats Sven done? Got them to two quarter finals? So what? With the seeding England have in World Cups and Euro Champs the very least they should expect is to make the quarters. Robson went further to the semis in 90 and so did Venebles in Euro 96.
The 5-1 win against Germany was against one of the worst German teams in history.
If England had Martin O Neill or maybe even Steve Mc Laren as manager id tip them for semis or final next year, but itll b another quarter final exit under Eriksson. Ya know it makes sense. :roll:

Englands performance against Denmark was poor, against NI they were diabolical, the Welsh game was workmanlike and no more than to be expected- I thought we played well first half against Austria though we missed Rooney up front. 6 out of the last 9 points and automatic qualification for 2006 WC will do me- Wednesday night will be 3-1 to England and we will go through as group winners

One of the worst teams in German history? That would be the same team that got to the final of the world cup losing only to Brazil!

Still think Englands best chance in Germany is Erikkson- after next summer he will have moved on no matter what and we will have a new manager to go through our media ritual sacrifice and I think the FA will go for a foriegn coach again- Mclaren, Curbishley and Allardyce are all good managers but time and time again we have seen good club managers unable to cut it as Engalnd coach.

I had this discussion with a male friend a couple of years ago, and we tested the theory. :lol:

All but 2 blokes who confessed to being a ‘tit man’ (90% of them :shock: ) were breastfed as a child.
