the pleasure filled throbbin….. you can’t beat a good weak end

Have said it before n I’ll say it again

You commit a crime (worthy of a prison sentence) in a country that grants you asylum, then you lose all civil, legal and human rights to remain there n back you go….simple as really, not too hard to do n we get a few spare prison places

It’s probably been said before but if a company today tried to market a brand new, never heard of before product called a cigarette, it would be considered a Class A drug n banned n the company would be closed down.

Banning smoking in a public place is right and proper

I really do need a yawn emoticon- if anyone loses their job Emma, they feel slightly peeved! But unlike you imply, I would get off my ar/se and find another one.

Funny how you ignored the question about Scunthorpe BNP complaining about something in West Yorkshire- but of course, you’d have taken the BNP soundbite at face value and not even looked at a map to where Ferrybridge was! You know Im right, do’t ya!

I didn’t say you wouldn’t look for another job. Im asking you now for the FOURTH time, is it ok for you to lose your job, because we can find someone from Poland to do it cheaper?

The work was promised to some of the people in Scunthorpe.

You dont need a yawn emotive, I DO :-

PB- Can we both please have yawn emoticon to over use

You really have difficulty understanding English- IT IS ALRIGHT IF SOMEONE FROM POLAND COMES HERE N UNDERCUTS MY JOB- It happens all the time n I have no problem with it- it’s business, pure n simple

The BNP say the work was promised to people in Scunthorpe- now why would a company do that when

    Leeds
    Bradford
    Pontefract
    Doncaster
    Wakefield
    Barnsley
    Huddersfield
    Dewsbury
    Rotherham
    Sheffield

are all much much nearer? Talk about a revolution- dont make me laugh

Sharon makes great points, as usual. The tax raised through the sale of tobacco products continues to be a major source of revenue for the Government, contributing around £10 billion annually. This is, according to the Treasury, equivalent to almost 3 pence on the basic rate of income tax or 12 pence on the top rate of income tax.

This poxy government keep drilling into us about choice, well they aint giving folk the choice to smoke, its no, no and NO, you do as we say.

Its a dangerous move, smokers will vote against them, but of course, the ban is after the may local elections…

Classic catch 22- ban smoking and lose revenue but long term gain through less people in hospital due to smoking related diseases- there isn’t a right answer for this one

Sharon- have to disagree- everyone has rights etc and everyone will die but ever seen anyone cough their lungs up (i mean literally, huge chunks of bloody organ) in the last stages of lung cancer- n guess what, when you’re young, n fit and think you can take on the world, you don’t believe it’ll ever happen to you- when your in your 60’s n mortality looms n you get the call from the GP saying, “sorry, Mrs Gooner but Im afraid the tests have come back n it’s lung cancer”- I can categorically guarrantee, you will dread your death with a fear and passion you didnt think possible and you will wish, every single day, that you hadnt smoked.

But as you say, its your right to die in a fashion that, were you an animal you would have been put down long before the end

It’s not just legal for foriegn companies to work here, it’s common sense- do you really honestly think British companies can support the livelihood of this nation?

If it weren’t for foreign investment (Nissan in Sunderland is a prime example), we would be sinking in unemployment and the brain drain on this country would be irreperable.

Its common sense to have a government that encourages companies to try slayer. If we carry on like this my friend, we will have mass unemployment that will topple the 3 day week. Last figures show 1.7 million unemployed, a million or so on sick benefit than in 97. I keep seeing were now the 5th best economy, 4 months ago we were 4th.

This government will bring us to our knees.

You’re avoiding this question like the plague. If you lost your job due to being undercut, and you couldn’t get a job elsewhere, would that be ok? Im guessing you wouldn’t like it, and consider it wrong, but that contradicts your earlier argument for others to lose the opportunity of work that was promised.

    I am right arnt i.

is it OK for foreign companies to work here but not foreign workers? Is that the message?

It is legal. It is not my personal preference, i’d much prefer an unemployed person get the job, so we dont have to fund their benefit.

I think many of the loyalists were once Protestant Scots going back a while.

If the palestinians can gain some form of independence, East Timor can become free of Indonesian state terror, if the Berlin Wall- the symbol of the cold war for so long- can come down, if communism can die on its own sword then I know Ireland will one day be a single country again- history dictates

But we know what that was about- the Atomic bomb

Surely if something has been going on for the last 60 years, we’d know something, have seen something-

Perhaps what doesnt help is the conspiracy theory at every turn (The Titanic, the Twin Towers, JFK, Martin Luther King, Aliens, landing on the moon, etc etc etc)

It breeds contempt for the one idea which may be true!

The old gang you support have let down the people in Scunthorpe who were looking forward to the good prospect of local work, which would help their community.

I meant to add- get a blo/ody map if you think Ferrybridge is anywhere near Scunthorpe- it’s 2 miles from Pontefract (which is 38 miles from Scunthorpe)

So why would the BNP in Scunthorpe (Lincolnshire) be interested in something in West Yorkshire!!
