Nah, just a halt to repetitive thread
Imagine if every day, I posted two or three threads called
“reasons why Derby County will win the championship”- it becomes stale, stilted and stifles debate
so stop the “vote for me” threads- thats what Im saying- they’re just dull and dont stimulate anything other than apathy on the serious thread boards

Who said anything about stopping BNP threads? Who said anything about removing freedom of speech? Party Political Broadcasts are the same here as on TV…boring, biased and you turn them off-
I happen to think the continuous “reasons to stick your finger in a socket” type thread repetitive and dull

Absolutely- I think Emma’s pedantic (at best) and down right deliberately challenging awkwardness (at worst) does not endear her but, apart from rare occasions when dispair sets in as reason fails, I tend to stick to that format

But this is the Serious Threads section of JC- debate and opposition is what happens here- and I would just as much oppose a black/muslim/catholic/jewish/chinese/polish etc etc poster who was discriminatory and misleading….or do we just cow tow and accept it cos we’re not allowed to post against anything
Anyway if we didnt post, as Emma tends to post half the thread topics, it would be a quiet section of JC wouldnt it
