Just to put people’s minds at rest on this credit card thing.
The page where you sign up and pass your credit card details is secured with 124 bit encryption. The data is held on a separate part of the server; is secure password protected and can only be accessed by senior JustChat staff.
I really cannot see where the problem lies. Using credit cards to pay for things electronically is a normal part of life for millions of internet users. Why on earth should JustChat users be different???
Senior Justchat staff? That would include yourself then? Sorry, dont mean to be rude but I don’t trust you, Who exactly is senior staff?? CL?? Aaron “Ryan Malcolm” Ade?? Hell no! Would be interested to know who exactly these senior staff member are :)
I love the ”…don’t mean to be rude” bit.
None of the operations Staff will have access to the database of our users, for obvious security reasons. That includes all of the ChatGuides and the ForumHosts..
Access to this part of the database is on a strictly ”need to know” basis and the only people who will have this access are ChatHostUK, the Financial Controller, and one senior administrator. Their access is strictly limited and they are logged in and out so there is a full audit trail.
We really have thought through the security implications of this and we believe that our control systems are fully robust.
Who is that senior administrator??
hehehe
btw i voted i have a tight ass
er……. i mean i am a tight ass :lol:i know
29 March, 2006 at 10:44 pm #207293its radio frequency i am taking it, have you tried the two different settings? you should have a recieiver too.. you press down the button on that, then press down the button usualy on the back side of the keyboard?
just try experimenting with the different frequency settings, you might just have a dodgy keyboard.. is it usb? or does it plug straight into the keyboard input at the computer
29 March, 2006 at 10:24 pm #207291did’nt think a keyboard ever needed a driver?
