I think it was a sick and twisted thing to do – as if any good was going to come of it in the long run.

I am glad for the family that the remains have been found, and hopefully she can now rest in peace.

Well, I do know a few women who have had their first baby at 40, some not through choice, but these things happen.

While on one hand, the couple look as if the baby will be well cared for (well, she is a child psychiatrist) and I assume will want for nothing, I can’t help thinking that is it fair on the child in the long run?

It’s a pity they wouldn’t have been eligible for adopting a slightly older child – there are so many out there needing good homes. :(

There is help he can get though – ther is one place I was reading about in a magazine – Andover Village, which is a clinic for the morbidly obese. Apparently it is specially designed…reinforced beds, extra large wheelchairs, etc.

The problem is – you have to be referred to get help. If people like this man are confined to their house – how are medical professionals going to find out about it??????

It all comes down to similar reasons as a couple of other ‘neglect’ threads that have been on here recently. Either, he has no family and friends, or he has family and friends but they are ignoring the situation. :(
