Hy ya Gazlan, did what you said and when it opens up so I can uncheck the mic there is no mic there to uncheck, there is only the speaker vol control in device and windows sound under applications I am running vista sp2, the external mic works fine but when I plug a lead into the jack to record something from a cassette player the comp does not recognise that I have plugged it in, if I go to configure the mic from the control panel, all I get is the speech recognition configure option, all help appreciated. thanx.I have sent a photo of what I mean.
Pete the program works ok but have not got a choice where can change to microphone input, the program just blanks it off, could it be my laptop where I have to configure the mic there, I have tried on the laptop and it says ok,, have watched the vid on youtube a dozen times and still cant get laptop to record, any ideas.?????
thanx Pete, works a treat.
You tube have now changed there site so you cant download vids and music from there, what I usually do is plug a recording device into my comp and record on the external source, without using any program such as a downloader.
