there are many forms of depression and it can happen to anyone and it has nothing to do with ‘letting yourself get it’.
Nobody asks for it, it happens, it gets ignored, it gets worse, it’s not understood by anyone who hasn’t sufferred from it and it’s damned hard to live with either yourself of someone you live with. Peoplecan become so depressed and no one notice, even to the point where they want to end it all . . and some try . . and some succeed too
