You’re wrong, the Euro Champions League purely by it’s name is not a knock out cup or misnomer. It has evolved from the knock out cup into a World Cup style championship. You win a couple of league’s before going into a knock out. It’s the decathlon of club football. It takes the best of a league situation and a knock out situation. For sure it was done to gain more revenue, but that is what it is now. The European Cup was a straight knockout between the league champions of Europe. The European Champions League is a marathon to see who is the kings of the dual challenge. Don’t ever mix it up with the old format.
15 May, 2008 at 10:23 pm #165529Pauly, will you and Patricia drag yourselves back into your msn pit. Shit you are even using mims by congratulating her, if you have forgotten, you don’t like her anymore, remember? Desperation to the point of insanity. Couple of slimes.
15 May, 2008 at 10:16 pm #317782I have no idea what you are on about Sharon, I was replying to John’s post, I never read yours. You’re a girl your comments don’t exist in football.

My mum was so delighted she couldn’t speak.. which is rare for her!Congrats mims… you’re a winner and Kev is a loser thanks to the embarrasement of Pauly being a Leeds ‘supporter’.
15 May, 2008 at 9:43 pm #317777Glad you’ve seen that for what it is John. A bunch of mindless thugs that really have nothing to do with football. I’ll be down the Fulham Road next week to watch Chelsea and hope to God there isn’t the same reaction. There are thugs in every club in the country and they do spoil it for the majority. I just heard Manchester council isn’t putting on city centre screens next Wednesday. Rangers thugs (all be it a few) have left a scar on the city and England. I can’t see the England v Scotland matches being resumed any time soon.

The right to trial by jury, the right to silence, the right not to be punished until a court has decided that the law has been broken, the right to demonstrate and protest, the presumption of innocence, the right to private communication, the right to travel without surveillance and the details of that journey being retained – all have been curtailed by your legislation.”

And that was before Brown got into power. Pigeon hole the Government in whatever way you wish, but the fact of the matter is there is something inherently wrong with a ‘democratically voted government’ that erodes our liberties at an astonishing rate. Mostly in the name of ‘extremist terrorism’. Looks like they got the nanny state they so desired with a dollop of public fear thrown in for good measure.
I don’t ever remember during the IRA atrocities our liberties being diluted in the way they are now.

Perhaps the mouse isn’t actually physical but is a reflection of you.
