When someone calls me a f**king Scottish **** (pick how many stars) they are being offensive.

Of course it’s offensive, but would it result in a court case..?

I like how you’ve used the word “when” instead of “if”. That made me smile.

Thank you Terry, I hope everyone else got the joke . . . it was a joke, right?

    Wordsworth you amaze me.

I was expecting a lengthy reply from you – at least 3,000 words and which would’ve outlined the history of slavery and the oppression of one race that suffered at the hands of another.
In other words, the usual taxi drive from Manchester to London, calling in at Edinburgh and Norwich to take in the scenery.
It’s quite a relief (for me, at least..) that you’ve decided not to get your history books out on this occasion and that you’ve managed to steer clear of the pulpit and the sermon we’re so used to having to read.
If only you could temper that politically correct side of your personality, leaving it to one side and then try to tap into your own reserves of common sense. It would make for far interesting reading than the usual diatribe you deliver.

cheap flippant remark in response to a serious response and a cut and paste that does not include the whole post.
But if someone is trying to make a point while not including the whole text of what is said then they sadly are far more racist than the ones who are being quoted.

I don’t want to get personal and start exchanging insults – I’ll leave that to you as it’s something you seem to thrive on.

I can assure you I’ve been the recipient of far worst racist abuse than Anton Ferdinand had to put up with from John Terry. So when you and panda accuse me of being a racist I take it with a pinch of salt and with the knowledge that neither one of you has that much common sense to aid you in your contributions here.

And what is so offensive about being called “black” if you are black?

Is Ferdinand proud to be black or ashamed to be black? Answer: he’s proud.

Not sure about the coward bit but i agree with this its kinda what im trying to say

Let me replace the word “coward” with “low-life scum”.

Provocation in English law is not a mitigating circumstance.

“In English law, provocation was a mitigatory defence alleging a total loss of control as a response to another’s provocative conduct sufficient to convert what would otherwise have been murder into manslaughter. It does not apply to any other offence. It was abolished on 4 October 2010[1] by section 56(1) of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009.[1] but replaced by a very similar defence of “loss of control.”

Loss of control btw only applies to murder / manslaughter.

What the polish guy said wasn’t racist. You should have reported him though. I reckon the police needed a good laugh.

Yes, the Labour Party have made so many changes to the law it’s almost impossible to keep up with them.

And yes, the Polish guy was being racist. Only an idiot would think otherwise.
