They want us in..and I want us in (Terry’s fears aren’t mine), but I want us in a democratic EU. Itisn’t democratic at all at the moment, not even formally.

Maybe democracy should start with the British electorate deciding whether or not they even want to be in the EU. I’m with Nigel Farage and Dan Hannan on this one. They actually know what they’re talking about…

What is it about the EU that turns people off..?
    That’s the question.

For me, it’s the political union that I’m opposed to and the fact that British jobs are being given to east Europeans.

I loved that the Spanish players brought their kids on the pitch to celebrate… I didnt have a favourite but 3-0 is decisive

    Well done Spain :D

The passing game they played is an art form in itself. Can England ever play that way..? I reckon we could, but we need better, more intelligent players. And pacier players too.

Art to me is Constable, Da Vinci, the Old Masters etc, something where pure talent and genuis shines through.

And your idea of art in music would be the “pure talent and genius” of Beethoven, Mozart and Bach.

I always wanted to be a journalist until I found out that to be successful you had to be ruthless and immoral.

Hardworking, good communication skills and a desire to serve the public interest.

    And your point is?

My point is you have a totally different view to me.

Hmmm, but the phone hacking scandal shows some journalists are ruthless and immoral, unethical law breakers and that’s only the ones we know about.

You spend a lot too much time generalising.

I said “some” not all. I’m sure there are some honest “hacks” out there.

Holding Italy was a achievement even, although they were outclassed.

The Italians never looked like scoring. And they didn’t. Possession football is great, but there has to be an end product or we might as well go home and watch Emmerdale.
