She’s on one of those work trial schemes which means I have to fill in an assessment form on her suitablility for the role.

I think she’s ok, but it’s not just about correcting rogue trader’s mistakes – it’s to do with customer service skills too and making him (and you..) glad that you’re learning stuff that will benefit you both.
