I am sorry Peco, but I feel I must reply to Crazy Chick as she has so graciously taken the time to reply to me. Here was me thinking that those oooo’s and xxxx’s were noughts and crosses and all the time they were cuddles and kisses. :)

I hope that we are not on the slippery slope to becoming internet lovers, as I have read what has happened to others that have suffered the same fate. All lovey dovey at first then someone comes out the woodwork and spoils it all by telling me/she that they are in fact their male/female lover and they have a baby and if I don’t promise to marry her post haste then her life will be ruined. I could of course be totally misinterpreting your signs of affection

As for the others that did not reply, not mentioning no names of course….MaryJ and Ruby…..well what can I say?

p.s. my ratio theory is almost holding up here

Peco, I think you are onto a winner here!!!! In theory it should run and run and may go down in the annals of Message Boards history as a classic, along with the ‘Hello and Goodbye’ and ‘How are you feeling today?’ threads.

As for your concern at the lack of replies on your posts, I think I can allay your concerns. It apears that the average ratio of replies to views is around the 1:10 mark. This not only goes for your posts, but most threads across the boards, including those of the equally paranoid MaryJ who has to be aware that many cannot understand her for 2 reasons.

    1. She is Scottish and therefore often needs translation

    and

    2. Is quite openly dyslexic and the above reason equally applies.

There are also others who expect humour in your posts and I, like your good self don’t come on here to have a laugh, far from it. I am trying deperately to recall a post that did make me LOL as they say but I am struggling. Maybe I will go over the whole of the boards AGAIN and get back to you. I expect Crazy Chick to take umbrage with this, but as she gives more noughts and crosses to you than I, then at this stage I am not bothered.

Ruby, I just Thank God I am not intelligent

    Keep Up The Good Work

I see there is an ‘American Woman’ online who has walked straight past this really interesting thread and posted a picture of a really ugly bloke. Do you think she would have replied had we used the letter ‘z’ in place of the letter ‘s’ where applicable? I will give it a go……

“There’z no buzinezz like show buzinezz like no buzinezz I know”

Yes, that sounds reasonable to me too.

I have noticed that about you. Why use 2 words when 50 will do  It is not a criticism, merely an observation.

We are failing miserably attracting new posters here. I blame myself so don’t you go to bed worrying that no-one likes you.

(I still think it’s Crazy Chick btw!)

    Sorry, only me again!

Is unexplainable a word, or did I mean inexplicable?

I have been trying to think of an invention to tag onto your currently ‘unreplied’ inventions thread. However I am not the inventive kind but I will keep thinking.

    pps

I think the ‘guest’ is in fact Crazy Chick but like many others, I think I may have scared her off.

    ps

I have noticed that there is only 2 online and 1 guest, so I guess that’s you and me and someone else. If you get lots of further views then it is one of us 3 keep returning for some weird unexplainable reason.

I am one of those you speak of.

I am perusing the boards and although many of your threads are ermm interesting, I cannot think of a decent reply to most of them. This thread however merits a reply or do you think I should f..k off now before I dig myself a hole?

    McLewd?

In the 1980’s McThatcher would have been a ‘Son of a b’itch’ then?

    Oh I say!

Is this what you poetic types call a ‘per verse’

My only criticism is that I am sure you meant ‘licking’ and not ‘liking’.

Keep it up Mr Edge :)

    Was it Stan Collymore?

He was a right tart and I know he was in Derby a lot.
