56 Years driving, tend to find men the most impatient, reckless,
Women on the average stick to the rules, only one thing as they get older they get slower, get behind two old dears chatting away to each other at a steady 25 mph on a narrow road.

He was there to fight in a country he had no right to be in either- he was not an Iraqi but Jordanian
He was there as an ally of Iraqi Muslims, irrespective of his nationality, or aren’t they allowed allies.
As previously stated, opposition to a foolish, ill judged, misguided and deliberate war does not justify support for an evil, psychological, callous butcher
I agree about the war, but it depends who you are referring to about the “evil, psychological, callous butcher” bit, if its Bush I definitely agree with you, otherwise no.
You may call him a terrorist, yet he gave his life fighting for an occupied people, who had seen their people slaughtered by US missiles.
Remember many British did the same in the 40’s14 June, 2006 at 10:02 pm #224816BTW just how stupid do these suicide bombers have to be. Do they really believe that they are going to be given 70 virgins absolutely gagging for it???
No more stupid than silly sarcastic posts, without much sense.
14 June, 2006 at 11:39 am #225244True, we have microfascism here, imposed by neighbours from hell, street yobbos, drug dealers and, of course, school bullies, but that is not part of the system.
But its accepted as part of the system now, if it wasn’t it would have been eliminated.
It shows that the so-called democratic Christian system is failing to control its own society.

There was nothing hidden about his motives, he was there to fight the invaders, and occupiers of a country they had no right to be in.Its much more difficult to see the hidden motives of Bush and Blair, how many have to suffer and die for their motives, the “democracy” card is a crock of garbage, its the oil and a power base.
America will never leave, until the American people are sick of the body bags increasing, Blair is a fool for tagging along, behind a maniac, who hears voices from god.
The US is withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, so its another place for British troops to die, the Russians gave up on that country, so the US is leaving it to our poor sods to die for their failures.
14 June, 2006 at 10:51 am #224813How come my history is flawed just because the books I read are from a Jewish perspective – you are readign from an Arab perspective – that’s how there are differences
Read from independent sources, and see the real situation, you cannot be objective, with only viewing one sides perspective. read both sides.
To give a reasonable POV, personal bias must be discounted,

But Israel took these lands as the outcome of defensive wars against Arab aggression. They can hardly be blamed for being unwilling to hand them back to parties whom they suspect still wish to use them for strategic advantage in future attacks.
Forgetting of course, that they were in someone elses country, not defending their own. how does defending against Egypt and Syria, entitle them to Palestine. :?:
You fail to acknowledge the refugee nature of the Israelis themselves. Also, if we are to categorise the early Israeli violence as terrorism, they certainly weren’t the only ones, as can be seen
No excuse, saying they weren’t the only ones, Israel was founded in murder and terrorism, those same terrorists became the leaders, so failing to recognise Hamas is hypocricy.
As I mentioned before, it is my belief that individuals do evil, not whole societies. The key is arriving at a situation that does not provoke violence in any but a very few individuals.
But when the evil individuals control the society, the society becomes evil.
14 June, 2006 at 8:23 am #224454He was betrayed by Moslems though wasn’t he?
Was he, or is that what the US said. :?:
Drivel,
Yes a small incident in a much larger picture containing much larger actions, you don’t worry about the equivalent of a mark on the wallpaper, when the house is being destroyed. How does the beheading of one man stack up against the systematic destruction of a city and the slaughter of the civilian population, by US missiles. (all except the Oil Ministry building of course)
13 June, 2006 at 10:47 pm #224451Unfortunately Slayer its people with your kind of thinking, that have created the mess in Iraq, trotting out the tripe about beheading, there is more to this conflict than small things like that.
Atrocities are committed by both sides, so don’t be naive, and pretend the West is so goody goody.13 June, 2006 at 10:09 pm #224449The point is, he is against Western terrorism, and the Iraqi’s who support the Western terrorists. and any others who do the same.
Words are only words on a screen, observing the actions, are much more informative.
The word terrorist is bandied about in many cases illogically, where is the difference about those that send missiles into civilian areas, and a suicide bomber in a civilian area, both are terrible acts,
At least the s/bomber has the courage to give his life, whereas those sending the missiles sit nice and safe, in their hidey holes.
Western words are full of hypocrisy, about bringing freedom and democracy, its pure greed and establishing a power base in the Middle East, to support the Israeli terror regime.
