ok so passe so boring so old fashioned, i dont care lol i put effort into it all, and iv read on this thread that women would prefer something like a poem or a story or whatever
but these things i have bought have come from my heart i mean it when i tell her i love her when i give her the dozen roses, and her chocolates (which she wont eat ) but when i give her these things it comes from my heart
chocolates: she is sweet, addictive
flowers: she is pretty, dazzling, gorgeous
a meal: sharing food to share myself with her and to do something togetherim sorry ladies if it isnt as you have said romantic and is passe and boring
but im happy with it,
and it may not mean alot to you but to me it means the world to be able to make someone smile with some flowers and a box of chocs
the smile on her face will compensate for me being boring

and for those spending it alone, do not be down your special person is there for you, and one day you will meet them and become happier than something or someone really happy
they are god them!
the only upsetting thing is that it was in a newspaper about 2 ir 3 months ago! shows how we dont read papers anymore and are reliant on the internet for things instead
if you are worried about people not laughing then a great tool to use is a hankie!!
explain to people that you will be telling bad jokes and that you will raise the hankie and wave it when you want them to laugh! works brilliantly and if someone laughs before you raise the hanky you can have fun taking the mick out of them saying they are drunk and must be seeing things
