On the flip side, I don’t agree with everything everyone posts on here, but rather than constantly putting that person or persons down, I either ignore it or give my opinion or thoughts whether they be right or wrong. Shes getting the attention and the reaction she wants while your all making a fuss. No one will ever agree with all the policies in any particular political party. YOu have a choice not to reply to emma, yet you do, and then when she comes back with a reply all I see is moaning. I know full well what her posts are like. If she posts something I agree on then I will say so, if she doesnt I will leave it, simply because by now I’ve learnt what reply I will get.

I agree also with what Drivel is saying, it’s a lifestyle choice too!! My local gym’s membership is £250 a year. If you get a referral from your doctor, you can join for half the cost. But not many people know that, and it isn’t advertised in my local doctors, it’s advertised in the gym instead. It’s everyone’s choice, but alot of emphasise is put on people to lose the weight to look good in clothes, and very little attention is paid to the health benefits.

Why is it that society finds fat people accetable? If a person in magazines or on TV is slim we moan about creating a bad image for young girls, but when fat people appear in public, we congratulate them and tell them how good the are, so we condone fatness, making young people think that being fat is right. Double standards again, no thin people more fat people thats the message we are sending. It is not ok to be overweight, it costs us money and people loose lives. Human rights seem to sway us into accepting fatness and never being negative about it. I think we SHOULD tax the fat!!

So who would you exactly tax? The fat person who hasn’t visited their doctor for years? Or the fat person on cancer killing drugs who is getting treatment through the NHS?

Tax the ignorant, Brown’s budget would be bursting at the seams!
