    yes it’s confusing Jen,
but so many use the same emoticon over and over and over.

    and over ad finitum . . . . .

Eventually you just associate their posts with the same boring smiley (which deeply detracts from any interesting human individuality), sigh deeply. and don’t even bother clicking.

Why shouldn’t emoticons be used imaginatively ?
When was this law passed ?

    :?:

wondering why I watched the start of Big Brother.

Normally that’s the only bit worth watching, and only so as you’ll know what the hell people are talking about for the rest of the summer. But it seems that all the housemates already know eachother which wasn’t exactly the best planning by the producers. No wonder it’s the last ever.

Also thinking about porcupines in ra-ra skirts (but I’ll probably delete this bit )

Why do some ppl always add the very happy smiley after their posts ?
    Are they that depressed ?

Many will not reply to this.

Some of the breakfast mueslied jam may stray to shirtcuffs, and one’s whole day could be ruined.

    keep at it Pete

I don’t think that a team finishing in 6th place in the Coca-Cola, 32 points behind the Champions, should be promoted.

But that’s my beef with the play-off system – which makes a complete mockery of the games played beforehand – and not with the club. Well done Ian Holloway.

Blackpool made it and when you consider their average home gate which is about 8,600, its quite amazing and even more impressive than the Hull story.

Let’s have a look at some of the national results from last Thursday..

    CONSERVATIVE PARTY – Votes 10,706,647 – Seats 306
    LABOUR PARTY – Votes 8,604,358 – Seats 258
    LIBERAL DEMOCRATS – Votes 6,827,938 – Seats 57
    UKIP – Votes 917,832 – Seats 0
    BNP – Votes 563,743 – Seats 0
    SNP – Votes 491,386 – Seats 6

Thatcher won three elections without ever getting more than 43% of the total vote.

Which says to me, in my inebriated state, that in all those years we never had a government with any conclusive mandate in actuality.

A teacher asks her class, ‘If there are 5 birds sitting on a fence and you shoot one of them, how many will be left?’

    She calls on little Ralphy.

He replies, ‘None, they will all fly away with the first gunshot.’

The teacher replies, ‘The correct answer is 4, but I like your thinking’

Then little Ralphy says, ‘I have a question for YOU.

There are 3 women sitting on a bench having ice cream: One is delicately licking the sides of the triple scoop of ice cream. The second is gobbling down the top and sucking the cone. The third is biting off the top of the ice cream. Which one is married?’

The teacher, blushing a great deal, replied, ‘ Well, I suppose the one that’s gobbled down the top and sucked the cone.’

To which little Ralphy replied, ‘The correct answer is ‘the one with the wedding ring on,’ but I like your thinking.’
