wow. that is a huge subject! but one i would like to be involved with….which might be something to do with me being of British ancestry, and my wife being from a Persian family.

However, I’m not familiar with the terms Gori and Pathan…..can you explain them further please.

    Hi there

Gori is an Urdu word which simply means white. Urdu is a language which uses masculine and feminine forms and therefore most words have different endings depending upon the sex of the word or writer etc but in this case the word Gori means white female. Gora is white male and Gore is the plural.

Most Asians simply bunch all us white folks together and say Gori’s Gora’s or Gore ! Like i’ve simply said Asians instead of Pakistani or Indian etc etc My god how i hate political correctness!

Pathan (pronounced Pataan) is the name of a particular tribe which i think originated in Afghanistan. I’m afraid they haven’t got a very good reputation and are regarded by many as old fashioned and even backwards in their way of life. They are Sunni Muslims which is the more strict Islamic branch. Sorry if i seem to struggle with this but almost everything i say has the potential to offend SOMEONE so i’m trying to pick and choose my words.

    Kind regards
