Now buoyed by these comments she thinks she’s not so bad after all and goes out at weekend and trys her luck with some bloke, only to be laughed at and sent home crying.

I must admit in MSN and private conversations i do lol and haha ect. It helps people judge your tone. For example the woman i’m seeing now is not speaking to me because i made a joke that although was in poor taste, if i had used a lol or a :wink: there wouldn’t have been this issue. Still it shouldn’t be used in the manner say coach driver does, unless your aim is to appear simple.
