17 Minutes for MisterQ, Linda, Ge & Draculina to survive

MisterQ is on the summit of a mountain with three friends – linda, Ge, and draculina, and there is a old wooden bridge. People are chasing to kill them all and the only way to escape is over this old wooden bridge. The people chasing you will catch you in exactly 17 minutes, so all 4 need to be safely over the bridge in this time.

MisterQ is quite fast and can get over the bridge in 1 minute, linda can get over the bridge in 2 minutes, Ge is slower and it takes 5 minutes to cross, and draculina is a little slower and it takes a whole 10 minutes to cross.

Only up to 2 people can cross the bridge at any one time as it’s a weak bridge, and there is only one torch, and the torch must always be carried by any one or two people crossing the bridge as there are holes etc.

So for example, if MisterQ and draculina cross over, 10 minutes have elapsed (as you take the time from the longest person), and if draculina then returns back over with the torch, 20 minutes have passed, everyone has died as 17 minutes has passed.

How do you get everyone over the bridge safely within 17 minutes or less.
