LOL It’s an absolute joke to get trolled by regs, just for saying welcome to new people,LOL ,How that effect’s your delicate sensibilities I don’t know, Oh wait, you told me,I’m new myself ,only been here 54 days so shouldn’t be welcoming others. You know what? You’ve been here all this time and your first thought is what YOU want, not other people enjoying chat, chilling out having a laugh,But YOU wanting to be respected for being in a chatroom for years. I have a rule,Respect is earned, kindness given freely,I won’t change my ways just because you think a chatroom addiction gives you the right to demand I not say a freakin’ word!, But You have changed one thing, Now when I welcome someone,I gotta big smile on my face too LOL

    • I don’t know what sparked this post but since you seem confused, I will try to shed some light.
“The regs” are not trolling you and if they have questioned you, it’s not just for saying welcome, Sara. I think the issue here is not only do you welcome new members, you also segregate the chat room by creating passwords with these new members and “warning” them about 10 years’ worth of gossip about “the regs”. So frankly, it’s quite annoying and weird. You will encourage bashing of “old members” by agreeing with nasty comments or lol’ing at it. Which is fine, everyone has their own definition of hilarity, but that is probably not winning you fairy points, especially when you again demonize and isolate the women of JC by calling us desperate Sl*ts..Was it? ….
I am yet to see anyone demand respect for being in a chat room, perhaps their intention was that they are more informed about the environment and the sincere people they chat with… But considering you are here more than these regs…or anyone really, I suggest you apply the word “Addiction” to yourself too. Most people have some kind of online dependency in this day and age, whether it’s Facebook, Instagram, snapchat… or JustChat :) We are all guilty of it. The difference is, most are not actually sitting in a chat room creating alliances and passwords with internet peeps for hours on end and then have the nerve to call out others on their internet habits.

By all means, continue to welcome the newbies <3 Hopefully this place will be bursting at the seams with new insights, thought and characters, but perhaps refrain from being a snitch, that's a start. Again, no one is here to push new people out and considering most are adults who managed to log into a chat room, I am sure they are quite capable of making an informed decision as to whether or not they want to stay… Whether you in particular, welcome them or not.
Take a deep breath, chill and enjoy your down time.
Happy Chatting dearie and yes, keep on smiling xo
