since this site changed and martin said 100 q to the first person to do 3 threads I ve raced to a 100 threads in record time,can do loads more if I wanted
but it seems im not wanted.
nobodys done a 100 different threads on here,oh hang on I tell a lie,as stoneman,cosy,rogue and this stupid name orson I probably done 400 threads
yeh course it makes sense to get rid of me
This thread doesn’t make any sense, surely you wouldn’t be banned just for questioning an answer and anyway, just swallow your pride and come in as a number like us peasants.

Sorry the thing you look most here to do, was disrupted by behavior most probably due to frustration answering question, or typing fast..Often have read you like the administrator of the quiz. Reading, not paid, hard work, does well at it. I know what that is like. Been there, done that.
So I am asking, do you work teams,one typist one responder, (all put head together provide answer to individual responder) or all at same time respond by typing fast applying answer? This can be hard and frustrating? Can the administrator be asked to repeat question, and for clarity of question you ask again meaning? This case what was it again?
And yes 10 years is a long time especially when people expect you to be the Orson Kart you always have been, they know…. as we have had some back and forth flares in most part for me, at the end of day my opinion you tuck it away, and then start another new day with me anyways. Work it out with the leader of the quiz privately. Maybe as she seems so dedicated can help you to have more fun, or both work at a method in which you do not fly off the ship, rather place your feet down and walk erect to the helm. Make sense?
And working with mental health issues daily with clients and part of my profession, I absolutely detest for what ever reason, when people are trying to have fun, share, be treated normally this is tossed in the mix. Why? Frustration unable to do something or express something does not mean people how mental health issues 24 hours day, 7 days a week…regardless if have certain addictions or stress.
Everyone knows Orson, attitudes, so forth. Perhaps trying to work with him, helping him, he can change, we all can change right, he has been here 10 years, regardless,that is a long time to chat. Reason would you not say, we all have our private needs..so he does too….

Your team and other players, know you like it perhaps second chance in order?Orson I admit I booted you from the quiz for effing and jeffing, and calling me names, and acting like a spoilt child saying I refuse to answer every time a question was asked, but I did not realise that the new system banned you from ALL forums so for that I apologise. You will be more than welcome in the quiz again provided you don’t kick off when you only give half an answer.

But my rivers and oceans lack, may be good on some history era’s do not recall dates, type too fast my device get’s screwy, and do not keep up with me. Do not use spell check and some of my typos are from reversing letter or 2… will keep in mind though. My math fair, your’s will fail. And some of my terminology different from UK. You may buzz me off just saying, Hi, Hello or Howdy….

Ahhhhhh….well there you have it Cosy. Not OTT at all, and more than justified. Remember, the whole idea of the quiz is to have a good time. Not to get arsey and spoil it for everyone. As has been correctly pointed out, GD puts a LOT of her time into these quizzes, the least you can do is show some respect and behave Cosy.

Orson instead of taking a fit in the actual quiz, probably not the best time, bite your lip and play on, enjoy, and talk to the quiz-master after… In my 1st quiz there was a question about Cheryl Cole, but her name was now Cheryl Tweedy, a little comment, move on, enjoy… You love a drama :)
Linda you would be most welcome in the quiz and as you say you may be able to keep Orson in check but I doubt it lol.
Its a good group of people, although slightly lacking at present due to holidays etc. The questions are varied and because the quizzes were compiled over the last 2-3 years (checked regularly) I never know what subjects are coming up so basically it is Pot Luck. I do have themed quizzes every 2-3 months on topics such as film, television, music & musicals (all genres), food & drink, natural world etc.
By the way king strongbow Cheryl was changing her name so frequently it was hard for me to keep up lol so I went for her original married name, I did not realise she had gone back to Tweedy.
It does take a lot of time to source the questions, and edit them to discard the very very hard ones, and check the answers are correct, to date I have asked over 13 thousand questions in my 12 years as quizmaster, have checked another 4 thousand ready for asking and still have another thousand ready to check, and that is just the general knowledge, with quiz questions (via email) coming in every day to be added to the pot, and that does not include all the themed questions I have checked, so you can see it is quite a huge job to keep the quiz going.
