While the hooded figure could quite possibly be a fan of necrophilia,it distracts from the question he’s asking…..
24 July, 2017 at 2:11 am #1062116First of all..is the cloaked figure actually standing on the bridge blocking it? as it states that he is in the center of the pass which does not necessarily imply he’s on the bridge at all so the man can just ignore his question and cross the bridge.
24 July, 2017 at 2:17 am #1062117Centre not center and the hooded figures position is irrelevant , the question is.
24 July, 2017 at 2:27 am #1062118If you were asked how far would it take a motor car to travel x number of miles in x amount of time would your answer be ” Is there any way he could have taken a plane” ? You can apply that daftness to any quiz question. The figure in the cloak has stated he can’t pass unless he answers and I have stated ” assuming all the above is correct” which pretty much negates the possibility he can pass by the very statement.

24 July, 2017 at 2:31 am #1062119Ok thanks for confirming. Always helps to know exactly the situation and that it has a definite answer. Just making sure it wasn’t a trick question.
24 July, 2017 at 2:35 am #1062120ok…that man’s father and my father’s son are the same. No brothers or sisters so my Father’s son and me are separate people. So no brothers or sisters then my father’s son can only be me.
Clarification….That Man is my son. If i have no brothers or sisters then my fathers son can only be me…which means I (me) am that man’s father.

24 July, 2017 at 2:37 am #1062121It’s one of those questions which is very hard to juggle around in your head while one tries to work it out.
24 July, 2017 at 2:52 am #1062123The man in the picture is his son. Since he doesn’t have any brothers or sisters, the statement…My Father’s son is himself. A shortened version would be, This Man’s father is my self, so he is the father of the bones referred to in the riddle. they are his son.
24 July, 2017 at 3:11 am #1062124The answer is I’m afraid none of the above. The answer to the great conundrum of the relationship of the bones to the cloaked figure is simple….. He is the second cousin twice removed from the mothers side.
I shall explain why exactly tomorrow as it’s late so stay tuned
24 July, 2017 at 3:35 am #1062129That’s one complex family tree. LOL
