    Trojan?

    Try downloading free version of microsoft Essentials……….friend of mine used this and found his computer had a trojan virus that norton didn’t see.

    First of all can I thank everyone for your help.

    I have cleared cookies, checked java and explorer are up to date, installed microsift essentials and also defrag my computer……cant think of anythingelse to do now!!!

    I have been having this problem for a week now and dont get it anywhere except when I attempt to get into JC Chat and as you can see I can still access the boards.

    Not sure about the next move but thank you anyway xxx

    I have problems with JC constantly. It won’t work on Firefox for me, so i keep Google Chrome just for the occasional room visit.

    Thanks wake up I have now tried that and get further with google chrome than with the other 2…….it then asks me about a plug in so I said always on this site but still doesnt work.

    I have just logged on sugar so will what other site I can find that uses java and check it out……coming to the conclusion it must be java bt says I am up to date with it.

    Highly untechnical but for some reason it often works for me…uninstall java and reinstall it. Worth a try.

    Termy – my hubby is in IT security – if ya trust me/him pm me with your email addy – what he does, is go into your comp and sort the prob out – he has done it for quite a few peeps in jc – and he doesn’t charge! Well I might have to get him a cuppa whilst he does his stuff! Up to you. You sit there and watch what he is doing, feels very strange – all numbers and letters n stuff – he doesn’t look at your personal bits n pieces as it were, and if you don’t like what you see, you could just turn it off!
