As far as i known i was speaking to another mod on another uk based chat site explaining to him the situation here he suspects could be a problem with server here. GD has sent e mail to martin to ask what is going on here.
Dunno Kiwi…his new hosting service guarantees almost 100% up time. I highly doubt is it that…but…even so…there is no excuse for not letting any staff left know plus..all the LOYAL chatters who have been here for years supporting the site. It’s terrible management. Poor GD wanted to do her quiz and couldn’t…and no word from the boss? tsk.

Martin should have emailed GD and let her know BEFORE quiz night. The fact she has to email him makes it worse! Honestly Martin..come on.. pretty poor show.
Heya Jane. Hope im wrong as still got some great friends (and i mean friends) on here. If he has pulled the plug he only got himself to blame as he should have stopped the fuckturds and spammers sooner.

You are 100% right. This place has gone down the toilet and it is his fault. No question. Started when he bought a book..(I have the same one) he followed it to the LETTER..PB was demoted to Forum Moderator..what an insult after all he had done for this site over the years..he did all the staff training his is OWN TIME. Wasn’t allowed to have his sarcastic (but funny) siggy any more. Martin sent him an email to try and justify his decision but PB ain’t daft..far from it. He was a good friend..we used to chat for ages on the phone. I miss him.
And if this post gets me banned..well such is life eh. I have my own site I’m very happy with. Even installed an arcade..space invaders… 
No chat room though….YET…

Yes all seems to be working now..would have been nice and GOOD MANNERS if he had let GD know before the quiz. Communication is key when you run a site.

regards the quiz…no idea…I dont know the way Martin communicates with guides but maybe he was sunning himself on his yacht in the Med?
